Once you have decided on what time your cruise will be your “Louisville Hotel Cruise” can start in many different ways and they all are quite inviting:

• Simply go down to the street in front of your downtown hotel we will have arranged for a horse drawn carriage to be waiting to bring you and your friends to us at the river front. In some cases because of the weather a Limo might be better or you might even want to walk in the clear beautiful Louisville sun and wind.
• Another option is to arrange for the carriage to take you to one of Louisville’s fine dining restaurants for an elegant dinner followed by your site seeing cruise on the Ohio.
• Once onboard you will meet your captain and crew and learn a little about your yacht. Just like any cruising vessel we comply with all US Coast Guard rules and regulations and that of course means you will get your vessel safety and emergency instructions before we leave port.
• As we leave port your hostess will show you how to operate the TV’s, Stereos, and anything else you might need during your cruise.
• Your Captain and Crew are well versed in the history of the Ohio River and the many sites you will see on the cruise. So feel free to ask them questions or even ask them to put on their tour guide hat and intrigue you with their knowledge.
• As you take this four hour cruise you will see things like Old (1800’s) paddlewheel boats making their way up or down the river. There will be commercial barge traffic which you can see up close and learn about. Did you know that barges move 98% of all mass volume Coal, Oil, and even milk in this country? You will after your cruise.
• During your trip you will be able to ride up front in the deck seating on the bow and feel like your “Rose” from the movie Titanic only without the same ending. You can lounge inside the salon and watch TV or select a movie from our large DVD collection. There is also MP3 music to listen to thru out the boat over high quality Bose audio sound.
• The skyline of Louisville will delight you as we cruise along and will be able to see Louisville’s bridge illumination project which is best seen from the water. Another sight that intrigues many is that you can see the lights of “Slugger Field” and the new Cardinal Stadium.
• As we return to the Louisville River Front Port and your cruise is over it is always a sad time, however remember it is not over.  You will still have a horse and carriage waiting to take you home.
